The Cookin’ For Kids Weekend is the annual spring fundraiser for Child Enrichment Inc., the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
Child Enrichment is serving record numbers of abused, neglected and abandoned children. Over 17,000 children have received the services of Child Enrichment since 1978.
Last year, these specialized programs found safe permanent homes, provided counseling, forensic interviewing, and or court advocacy for 698 victims of child abuse and 342 of their non-offending parents, caregivers, and siblings .... Child Enrichment also provided expert testimony in prosecutions of alleged child abusers.
